Luck, By Chance

Let there be no doubt about it, Alyy Khan is extremely underexposed as an actor. When the movie started with him, I hoped there'll be more of him in the movie - but well, the movie overall had several good character actors and much to be appreciated.
I specially liked the Arjun Mathur's character in the movie and the thread where he sends in his photographs to the production house as well. The thread was only briefly attended to (And that's what I like about it), but is rather key in justifying the movie title.
The gray shades of characters is very well done as well - except that I think when you're over 30 and have seen your share of cinema, most of the things are predictable to you since you've seen it someplace before, and hence despite it being a good movie, I personally did not find any novelty in it.
What I did not like (And hence this post) are three things:
1 - Dimple Kapadia's tirade with her daughter about how easy the daughter has had it all : Well, she says "You had this, and I had to go through that"; now not to be an *expletive* about is, but it would serve the movie better if the dialogue went "You had this, and you did not have to go through that".
2 - SRK did not have to detail out on the friends thing. He could just say something simple like "These are your last friends".
3 - The climax did not do anything for me. I would rather the main characters have an amicable conversation in the end and move on. No one asking to be taken back, no one saying no. These guys are mature enough to face, accept, and move on with what happened without losing their dignity anymore.

oh i rather loved the climax... the dialogue where konkona holds his hands and says that its not ur fault somepeople are like this only... and then they both move on... the slight smile that comes to her lips in the last taxi scene says a lot
and i am with u on Alyy Khan he is a great actor and I also loved the way Arjun's character was handled
